  • Hunt & O'byrne cue on e-bay

Never seen one of these cues before. Can anyone give me more information about it. Was this a lower range cue or older Blackplate type of cue?

    Any info would be appreciated.

Morning hardness lol... sounds familiar ... Nice cue with an interesting grain pattern on the shaft.

            Thanks.

Does anyone know where in the H&O range this cue sat. i.e. red plate level or black plate level (Comparing it to say Osborne cues today).

Never a fan of that cue, the 2 brass rings on it just looked odd for a snooker cue, obviously part of the joint but with them so far apart it didn't look right.

How much do you guy's think the cue is worth? were there a lot of these cues produced with a square badge?

                    Cheers.

£800-£1000. Rare cue but shaft has terrible grain look.

Were these type of cues not made by Aeon for H&O?

The black and brass joint faces were a very common feature on Aeon cues and I wouldn't be surprised, that if that cue was unscrewed that, the joints would turn out to be spiroloc joints rather than the joints fitted by Mick Rees as well.

Nah, it would be 1000 -1800 plus ROS played with it . . .

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                            I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)
