  • Help Identify Vintage Cue *PICS*

My father pulled this out of the back of the wardrobe the other day

He bought it in ~1975 when he used to play the occasional frame with his friends.

He reckons it has been used for less than 100 frames.

It has been in its case for over 30 years.

Ok then guys, perhaps a few specific questions will help:

              - Is this a maple cue?
              - Is the butt Rosewood?
              - Why is there no mention of the "Syco" range anywhere?

              thanks

Maple shaft with very possibly rosewood butt (machine spliced), with maple (possibly) front splice (hand spliced)
Syco Major - not seen this range before unless it is a custom badge
                  Up the TSF! :snooker:

It is not a custom badge. He actually has two cues, one called "Syco Major" and the other "Syco Master"

This is the nicer of the two cues.

Is there anywhere where old powerglide catalogues are uploaded?
