  • Anyone having problems with Mastercraft UK lately?

    Hi fellow snookerians,

Has anyone encountered problems with Mastercraft UK lately? December last year, I found my Mastercraft cue to be too short (my bad - it was my first cue and I got the measurements wrong), and asked Dave if he could lengthen the cue, concerned about the cost. After a few exchanges of emails, he offered to build me a new cue, out of goodwill. I was really thankful and appreciated the service offered (He mentioned that customer's satisfaction is what he's looking for). I then sent my cue from Singapore, which took about a month to arrive. Mastercraft received the cue and Dave acknowledged it. However, he mentioned that he received a heavy tax for postage of the cue. Since then, he has not replied any of my email. Eleven months it has been since he offered me a new cue (that is how long I have not been able to play the sport).

Anyone has similar problems with Mastercraft? Could anyone advise me on this.

Why not give him a phone call might be the way to go.

Or get in touch with ADR on here as he is still an agent for them, maybe he can get an answer more quickly.

Said it on here before and will say it again. Wouldn,t touch them with a bargepole after they messed me about for months. Glad I only left a small deposit (which they never offered to return)

When he told you to return it he should have told you to mark it 'return of faulty goods' or something like that to avoid paying the tax. I've had to do that before. Did you offer to pay the tax?
