    Getting silly now ......£2750.00 !!!

' THIS CUE REALLY IS A "ONE OFF" AND IS THE ONLY ONE OF ITS KIND ' ????

    Poor pics as well .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

I asked why so high and got this
"My son owns the cue and used my account to put it on eBay. He says that its the only one of its kind. John parris himself told him that he had never made one with the specified requirements before. If you don't like the price so what. That is not your business and you sound quite rude too"
    lol, so i replied with
"Just because a different wood "may" have been used, doesn't make it worth £2000 more than it cost !!!!"

Should have used some of his money to buy a decent camera. £2750 and and a few crap photos to advertise it

To be fair if he found a cue inbetween the waiting for his JPU, its not that unusual for someone to sell a cue, especially knowing you can sell it for a big profit.

I'll be totally honest, I have a JPU on order as some will already know, however I've really settled with a phoenix cue that hits just as well as any cue I've ever owned. If and when I get the JPU, if its not as good as this phoenix I too will be selling it for profit, though not asking some of the stupid prices that seem to be listed.

I think given the huge waiting time and few JPU's that become available for sale, I think asking double is a fair price. My JPU is costing me just over £800 so asking for £1500 I think is realistic and I know someone will pay that to avoid the wait.

You think asking 1500 for a 800 pound cue is fair? Worlds gone mad

Hate these people - make a few hundred profit yeah sure but anyone selling for double the price could be seen as a con man in my opinion - these people should all be banned from e-bay and this site for preying on the innocent. Nothing special about these cues - not owned by a pro or anything -

If people are daft enough to pay it you might say it is up to them to beat the waiting time and all that but it is a poor excuse these types of sellers often use to hide their greed and lack of morals - is there any difference between a builder over charging a little old lady for work he has done or this - nope - both are looking to rip someone off and should be ashamed of themselves.

I think I'll be doing the same thing when my JPU arrives.

                      My TW is immense.

Couldn't agree more. See it on here all the time - mostly the same people!

No one is putting a gun to people's heads when trying to sell them, so if someone wants to pay double what a cue does cost to buy new then its up to them.

I don't think a Premium is too much to pay due to the waiting list , but you have to draw the line at £2750 !!! stupid price .

People pay what they want if they want something bad enough - would you pay 150k for Tracey Emin's bed, even if she was in it?

Premiums have always existed for products with a waiting list but I'll be selling an Exquisite cue set soon and it's as good a cue as an Ultimate but just has a different name, you could have that plus a car and holiday for the money this Ultimate is going for but horses for courses...
