I did not realise that John Parris used such woods and did splicings this good - back when this cue was made in the around 2000 at a guess - looks nice - it will be a red glue model obviously? Have you had it altered at all? - got any more close up pictures or reciept or details when you bought it please?

this numbering would be more like 2005-6 (my guess ) and so could be a red glue model (for all that counts - nothing) as by my guess red glue was stopped about 2006/7.

Still a very nice cue and JP has done some fantastic splices of many woods, I assume in the past it was easier to get exotic woods used before the website restriction on woods

good luck with the sale ongkia

                    Thnks for the support, mate!

I received the cue from JP back in February 2007, still have the original hand written paper receipt with me, not sure about the red glue though........................

Sure........... I placed the order on the second week of November '06 n I got the cue in the middle of February '07, about 3 months' wait. I should have ordered a few more back then................!!

It appears that this supposedly buyer from Hong Kong has been stringing me along all these times n I doubt that he's serious at all. He has missed the payment date twice n has gone quiet again..............!!

As some of the enquiries are coming from UK, a lot of concerns are raised on having to pay VAT on importation, courier charges, insurance etc.......hence, additional cost incurred as a result.

So this is what I'll do now for those forum members living in UK...............sort of to get around this problem.

I'll ask a cousin of mine, whose is returning to London in late February, to bring this cue back with him. He would make the necessary arrangement locally for the postage to the potential buyer. I guess that is the best I can do.............

Anyone from within UK are most welcomed to PM or email me at ongkia@gmail.com with your offer. Offers above £850 + U.K. local postage will secure.
