  • Parris cue bottom filling

    HI,

i have just bought a parris cue with no sd joint. it is meant to be quite old but where the leather butt cap is meant to be is missing and there is a beige filling present.

does anyone know what this may be ?

    many thanks

its a parris special 3/4 in maple great quality but a bit concerning, maybe the leather cap fell off and thats how parris finish their cues for weight to be adjusted, or there was a sd joint thats been removed

any thoughts/advice would be great !

I'd guess its just been re-weighted, nothing to worry about - it the cue is an older one it may have been done by someone else.

i suspect if it is old enough it will be one that was made as a one piece then split hence the comment it is the shaft could be right - when we see the pictures I imagine we will know.
