2 years is about right. its almost 3 years for a 1 piece JPU. Not too sure about the part where he says the butt was made by John himself..

i think they become off the shelf if they were cancelled orders...a whole lot depends on luck whether or not you catch one in store..some people have bought off the shelf ultimates..

Geez, I would be in the shop every day if it was nearby.

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
            I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

My friend ordered an ambassador last year which took 6 months so would think 6-12 for these ones

I know from you're previous posts you're a Maple man, was this order for a Maple? If so, I would gave assumed a good Maple shaft would be much easier to find, or am I wrong?

Ditto, well 17 months ago but what's a month! I'll know when yours goes into production that mine should be next or within a few months max. Not that bothered though because I have an Ultimate maximus currently being made that should be with me by the end of this month. Going by the standard of cues out of Thailand its likely to be better quality than any cue maker can produce.

I wonder that as well, you'd think the ash shafts would be the longer waiting time, maple according to John himself is nowhere near as popular but it seems that the waiting time for maple ultimates is just as long. Not really sure why that is.
