  • Great Service from GBL

Can any body beat this for service?

Spoke to Stu @ Green Baize yesterday and paid for a GBL C1 at 10:15, the cue then arrives this morning at 8:03, less than 22 hours for a cue!

I've had a brief look at it and it looks a cracker, I will post pics in the cue pics thread.

Cheers Stu, keep up the good work.

If it is the one, then it would be awesome service! I'm waiting for a Jim Black cue, which should be with me by the beginning of April, so fingers crossed, one of them will be the one.

If that's a custom made cue I'm really impressed, only joking, never heard a bad word about GBL. Hope the cues perfect for you.

            Hi all!

I'm a snooker player from Belgium and it looks like I'm going to buy a GBL cue. Do you guys have experience with alternations on cues which were done by Stu? He has a cue but I would like it slightly thinner (tip-size and butt diameter). Stu said it wouldn't be a problem to alternate the cue, but I'm a bit sceptical about alternations on finished cues

            Regards

He gets a cuemaker to carry out major alterations as far as I know. So I wouldn't worry in that regard. Alan Day rings a bell...

Stu is the man. I bought a C4 1pc about 3 months ago which had to have alterations done. 58" down to 56.5" 10mm down to 9.5 had the cue in my hands in Canada in 4 days. The cue is perfect. Next I am going to get a GBL case. Tell him that I gave him the thumbs up. This is my second GBL cue. My orther one is a C1 3/4 length with the exact same specs.
