There does'nt look to be a thread for this so i'll get us cracking, decent opening match so far, Ding storming to a 3-0 lead and Woolaston takes the next 2 to trail 3-2, both players making unforced errors.

I'm at work. (Well, okay. I'm in the office and messing around online.)

I'll probably have Murphy and Robertson on this evening.

tell you what love the conspiracy theory so wonder what price you got at bookies for ben woolastone at 3 nil down in a best of 7 against ding to come back and win 4 3, and tell you what some of the shots played and missed by ding in last two frames were shocking
plus no excuse of mid session break interrupting his concentration or being outplayed because woolastone was hardly playing 1 visit snooker
as I have always said not suggesting anything untoward but how you can possibly use evidence of missed shots as a reason to prosecute if so then this game wants examining

The dreaded fixed word is being thrown about on Twitter, some of the balls Ding missed i just thought WOW, i suppose if it was crooked we will hear about it through suspicious betting patterns or whatever, i just thought at the time it was Ben putting him under pressure by coming back at him, we'll see.

not in anyway am I suggesting fix or anything like that, just making a light hearted point that I find it difficult to use evidence of missed shots as prove of anything untoward as we all have witnessed a thousand ''easy'' pots missed without any obvious reason, just happens in all games/sports
as for if anything suspicious we will hear about it, do you honestly think the biggest draw in asia will be subjected to the same scrutiny as Stephen lee or joe jogie, just a thought
they had john higgans hook line and sinker but he got a slapped wrist in comparision to others such as quintin hann and peter fransisco with very much same evidence ie newspaper sting

just looking at jimmy Robertson playing against john Higgins with his artistic arms on display, I remember in the eighties a lot of local lads in our area who were very good players and certainly up with the likes of dave martin, tony jones, dean Reynolds, greame miles and others but couldn't turn pro because they had tattoos and governing body turned them down

The commentators have just said you need to switch to Eurosport1 to carry on watching this match, but its stayed on Eurosport2??? They aint got a clue this channel, pretty standard though to be fair.

Jimmy Robertson looks a bit useful, not seen much of him, brilliant total clearance, should give him some confidence!

A lot of players are leaving their chalk on the rails, i assume its because they usually keep it in their waistcote? Surely their trouser pockets are'nt that tight, its not like they're doing it on shots their stretching on, Ding did it lots this afternoon and i notice Robbo is doing it plenty tonight.
