  • Rare custom made Mac Chambers Cue

Hi guys, just contemplating this cue, I may have to let it go in the near future to fund a other snooker bits. Would you play with it? Or more a collectors market. Your thoughts and comments welcome as usual.
    Well here goes.
It's a rare Mac Chambers 3/4 long cue. Ash shafted, ebony with a 10 inch butt.
From my understanding, this gentleman, Mac Chambers is held in the upmost regard for making fine quality custom made cues. This cue is totally original and untouched, immaculate.
The cue also comes with a stickered custom telescopic extension.
    Specs are:
    62 and a 1/4 inch
    10mm tip
    30 mm butt
    19.00 oz
    Balanced at approx 19 inch

The extension is also custom made, extendable between 28.5 and 42 inches. I guess this cue was made before the regular days of butt joints?
Well that's about it guys, your thoughts please? Collectable or suitable for tall players? Comments re this craftsman? I will try to sort some pics if I can work it out, only the 3rd post from a fella who sits in the background on a cracking forum. Cheers.

If it's stiff enough, it would be something I'd be interested in buying to play with, although I would have to shorten it by a few inches to suit.
Post some pics, i'd love to see it. Try using photobucket and then copying the image code over, easiest way.

not sure, but to me the rarity pushes value up but the length knocks it down again.
                  lovely looking cue though

Burwat, sorry for the delay mate. At 12' - 14.2mm, 13' - 14.6mm, 14' - 15mm. Please don't take these a precision engineering measurements as only a metal ruler to hand at mo. But they won't be massively out. Hope this helps.

I know this is an old thread but do you still have this cue? I have a cue very similar made for me by Mac many years ago.....
