  • Review Praram 3 Limited Range

Around 11 weeks ago I placed my order for a Limited range (for my younger brother).
received de cue today and played a few frames. The cue is responsive/nice feeling/nice hit/great player.
Is made exactly on the specifications I had asked. During recent weeks, Jack was customer friendly and answered all my questions with patience. I'm Jack, on behalf of my brother and myself grateful. as for me, this cue maker is high recommended.!!!! ( a few pictures ).
    58inch/9.5 tip/30mm butt/ 17.5 balnce/ 18.7 OZ/.

Very nice cue and good honest review. Great spec and to get the BP at that and at that weight is very good, I can see why its a good player.

Surely any decent cue maker can get the balance wherever you want ??? (within reason)

That's a good one!!! of course, you may ask.
The cue + Mini button + Case + shipping cost + tax (VAT) and import duties: about 600 GBP.
I must add, the courier was UPS. That was my choice!!!. UPS shipping is about 60 pounds more expensive!!!
Given the quality and playability,, we got more then we paid for !!!!

well, I'm agree with you. He wanted a combination of high button length (23 inches) + forward balance (18 inches). So Jack emailed me and said: If you want the cue weight naturally , then I have to keep the balance point on 17.5. Anyway, wasn't easy. That is why we had to wait a few weeks longer. What can I say, he is my brother. But this kid is crazy. A madman who can play very well snooker.
btw, I'm agree with JRC. I think it's hard, but the top cue makers can do this. The cue that Mike made for me has a balance point of 18 "+ Butt length 22". anyway, my compliments for this cue makers.I am grateful to all of them,.

We try our best for balance point. As we use lead only one point not 2 points as other cause we found that 2 point lead will make cue feelling weird , dead , no response.
18" BP quite difficult if not use 2 point lead.
                  That from my research.

Among this 2 years we found top brand cue use 2 point leads ( 1 on shaft another on butt)
That My customer ask to repair to be 1 point lead.

This cue I try many times and I love it
Hope your brother will love it too.

Well, it works. to be honest, is one of the most responsif cues I've ever seen. As for my brother ,, I talked to him yesterday and he is very happy. Cue suits his game 100 percent. as I have already mentioned, we are grateful. Many Many thanks for your effort and your time.

can I ask what is "1 point" and "2 point" lead - not heard that term before - my thinking it is a size unit...

I'd like to know about this too. Also Jack if you are reading this, what has happened to your website. Many of the cues don't have prices listed now, a few do but most of them don't have any price?

Well just from reading what Jack wrote it seems he means using lead in one place, or 2 places (one point or 2 points)
To Ramon, maybe cue has been weighted then, not naturally as you thought!
