  • Advise on GBL or any other Cue

Hello Everyone, I am looking to purchase a GBL 3/4 Ash shaft cue. Looking for advise on anyone who has used GBL before and should I go for it or not...
Also i am open to suggestions to other High Quality Cues, ideally i would not like to spend more than 300 pounds but open to suggestions. Need to finalize and make the purchase within coming week.

    Regards
    Farooq.

I would go with a Niche Excellance cue,I recently purchased from Green Baize is quality cue with multiple chevrons down the shaft, plays very well for me,if you have a £300 budget, youll have enough change to get yourself a quality case too

It really is you choice. I have bought to GBL's off Stu. One great guy, I have a C2 3/4 Ash with Ebony Butt and I also have a One Peice C4. Both great cues.

HO could also be Hunt & Osborne
                  MW is Mike Wooldridge

GBL are highly regarded cues and Stu is good to deal with.

Hi I have a c7 3/4, lovely cue and I've had john parris and Trevor white cues in the past and my gbl is on par if not better, my mate has a Trevor white and has played with my cue and he wants to swap it, no chance :-).
Don't pay for the name, pay for what cue suits you.
                          Regards

Wise words, maybe the Thai cue makers are surpassing our own?

I think the old cue makers have had the lions share of the market to long and are asking silly money for a bit of wood :-),
