    Recommend me a cue

    Hi everyone

    After many years of play with cheap painted cue I've started to fancy a better cue. I want to know what is the most value homemade cue here in the UK?

    I don't want to spend a whole lot as I don't play much regularly.

    I want a hand spliced cue. Jointed at 16 inches. I won't mind 14" joint either if its really good on value but not a 12" joint. An SD joint is a must.

    I don't bother if its ebony or Ebonex. Butt doesn't matter to me at all other than a precise splices.

    I need a medium weight 17-18 ounces cue with a perfectly straight splendid ash shaft. A great joint and around 9.75mm tip and 29 to 30mm butt size.

    I have recently been considering Peradon Carlisle cue. Did anyone have it before?

    Can anyone recommend me something in that range?

    Peradon do not have a good reputation for making cues these days. There are better cues out there for the same money they cost.

    What budget do you have? A good quality second hand one is better than a brand new cheap one any day of the week.

      He has many cues . Great guy to deal with.
      Onother option : Greenbaize ,, Stu green . You can go there and try before u buy !!!
      Craftsmen cues is also a good option ,,,

          once you change your original cue, you will change twice, then trice, then more and more and the list will keep going so on and on....

          haha good luck mate! don't throw or sell your original cue away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
