  • Strange request

Hi guys ive had a strange request from a customer at the club who is absolutely insistent it is what he wants even though I've tried to explain that it probably won't be a good cue due to the balance point, but I digress. The guy wants a cue that will fit in his hand luggage for when he is travelling abroad so he doesn't have to pay for baggage and he doesn't want to keep using different cues when he is abroad. So does anyone know of a snooker cue that is currently sold with 2 joints that is roughly 147cm and would split in to 3 pieces that are 49cm long?
I know it's a mad request but I had to ask
    77 in a match, 97 in a line up

There are plenty of 3 piece pool cues but they are basically a centre joint cue with an extra 3/4 joint that lets you shorten the cue. Being a centre joint cue they always have one piece that's half the length of a standard cue, therefore longer than 49cm.

Really this guy should re-think how he wants to carry the cue. You can fit a decent centre joint cue into a suitcase but if he only wants to travel with carry-on luggage and nothing to check in then He's better off using a house cue IMO.

I've seen a Jr cue like that made by BCE, Jimmy White signature on it, basically split at 1/4 & again at 3/4 giving 3 equal lengths, it was only about 47" long though

BCE Jimmy White Junior 48" cue. Not sure if you can get them done this way full length without buying a 3/4 cue and having another joint fitted at 1/4 or getting a full custom cue made
