  • How Many Cues Have You Owned?

I have carefully logged every cue I have owned during my long search for a cue and I was delighted to discover that my latest GBl cue is cue number 147.

So I have owned 147 different cues over the last 20 years.

I just wondered if anyone else was as daft as me? Has anyone else on the forum owned more? Obviously this thread cannot include traders such as ADR147

I've had 3 cues. And one of them was a club cue.

god where to start, genuinely no idea, what I can say as cues I bought to play with, started with a riley machine spliced cue in early eighties then got a bce from tony jesney an alan brathewaite, then had a riey tombstone for a few years then started looking for the holy grail, had at least ten made by dave brown at craftsman, then a lewis and Wilson that I picked out at leeds a parris elite, ambassador, champion and traditional, a Robert Osborne that I bought from richy macdonald that was the one til I fell on hard times, had a paragon had one frame with it knocked 112 in then sent it to craftsman as half in too long(I know idiot) and then sold that, then throw in at least 12 old cues by likes of burroughs and watts, riley etc and another pretty great cue was a chesworth that was custom made for me, at moment got a craftsman cue that was custom made, have sold and rebought it back 3 times lol,
and for some reason still looking lol

I have had many cues over the past 40 years or so, but I want more. I still think you should send me all your spares so I can get up near your 147 number

Great thread. Not saying a word.

Just don't ask my girlfriend in case she looks under the bed.

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

                    147? holy smeg.

i've owned around 20 cues in 20 years. I have 3 at the moment and have owned 2 of them for over 5 years and my new one for about a month.

2 Tony Glover, 6 Trevor white, 2 Robin Cook, 1 Crispian Jones, 1 Stamford, 1 Dave Coutts, 1 Robert Osborne, 1 Hunt & Osborne, 2 Phoenix, 1 GBL, 1 mastercue, 1 cue craft, 1 Parris champion, 2 Parris paragon, 10 or 11 Parris ultimate, 1 Sean Parker.
So that's 34-35 but I'm sure there is more I can't think of
                          77 in a match, 97 in a line up

Over the years probably over 100, however most were car boot bought cues I've bought to do up and sell on, cues I've used myself and actually class as my own though I've had 11. Currently have 5. But just got another 2 recently i might keep lol
