  • Help!!!

Hi all, I'm looking to get myself a new cue but haven't got the biggest of budgets, probably around about £125 or so. I've been looking at a Dunns cue which seemed ok but I've seen some really mixed reviews on them. If anyone has any advice or recommendations of a good cue in this kind of price range I'd really appreciate it. Many thanks all for any responses

Its a tough price range that, its not enough for a good thai cue such as phoenix or maximus, unless you are looking at the second hand market. Dunns are fairly decent, but reviews will be mixed on most cue makers at that price point. There is a current pro using a Dunns cue if that is enough of an endorsement as to whether or not they are good enough though. You could squeeze a machine spliced cue from GBL maybe from Niche or Mastercue. I think that would be my choice at that budget.

Are Dunns based in China or Thailand? They always have some good looking cues on their website but not sure if you would have to pay custom charges on top of their prices.

China I believe, an old boy I knew had a dunn cue which would have the Chevron lovers drooling yet these people would swerve this due to the cost and nameplate.
