  • WANTED: Low key/classic style hand spliced cue, 9mm tip

    Hi all,

I'm looking for a replacement cue that's the closest match. Just a simple look, like the title suggests. Doesn't need any fancy veneer just a nice balance ebony/hand spliced ash/maple 1 piece, 17-18 oz, 9mm tip. A butt joint would be handy

I'm based in London and I'm well aware of John Parris but for a player of my standard I don't think it's imperative to splash out on an expensive cue.

If anybody has or knows where I could find a cue like this I would appreciate the reply.

    Cheers!

Probably best to tell us your budget, but a good place to start is the for sale section on here.

Try JJB-SportsDirect store if you are in the UK?

I was hoping to get a cue with a better standard than a Sports-Direct cue. I was thinking more Ebony hand spliced. However, I am working with a budget of £100-150 and still experimenting with cues so I think i'l take culraven's advice and have a gander on here for a cue.

Thanks a bunch for all your helpful replies to this thread, much appreciated :encouragement:

You could certainly do a lot worse than the above. For my own part I would recommend a Peradon Royal or Joe Davis.

My first serious cue was from Paul ( bitter ). Nice welsh dragon model. Played great for me. .
