Apologies if this is in the wrong section, but I'm not sure on the for sale section here as I've not used it.

    Anyhow, here goes.....

I want to draw attention to a cue that will be listed on Ebay tomorrow, so those here or anywhere else have the chance to view and bid if they so wish. This cue is being listed for a charity cause, and is to raise funds for someone who is doing a bit of an endurance race as a part of a team, to raise money for a childrens charity.

I will post up the link tomorrow if this thread is allowed to remain, but if not, it'll just be a case of who sees it sees it and it will fetch what it fetches.

Apologies again if this appears out of order. Please delete if inappropriate.

    Thanks all.

What's wrong with saying that - is it one of yours - the cue?

More importantly, is it made of bog wood???
The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Ha, no bog wood in sight no.

Yes, it's one I've built for this person and this reason. it's nothing special, just a one piece ash cue with ebony butt and four splices of rosewood. Specs are fairly average.

It was actually a spare cue which was left to one side, and would most likely have been ignored for months on end, as they often are. I was discussing this event with the person in question, and thought that I could do something to add to the fund, so this was the answer.

This is not something I would ever normally do, as I don't appreciate the promotion of anyone's name, business or whatever on TSF, especially when it's done by the person themselves. In this case though, I'm making an exception, because I'd like to give it as much coverage as possible in the hope of getting a decent figure for the cause.

That's it from me on this now, but if the thread remains until tomorrow, I will post up a ling to it.

        Thanks all.
