  • fake JP classic

there is a JP classic on sale online here in my country. Does JP even use this type of joint before? it looks so fake and the splicing seems out by a lot.
the seller is very persistent that this is real.

Have you sent the blast a message, I've heard he can tell a Parris just by smelling the butt.

Just don't go on the bad splicing alone that's normal on a Parris (just don't let masterblaster read this thread )

Haha, you cretin, moron, etc. Sorry, I came over all TW there. Just joking. Stainless steel joints? I don't remember Uncle John doing those? Could be wrong.

walk away too many things not right but your in charge lol what does the advert say ? , i wouldn't touch it on looks alone as i would need some definite info about it and proof of work done to it and such to weigh up the look of it :snooker:

The badge looks genuine to me, although the shape of the butt looks fairly similar to how Robert Osborne and Tony Wilshaw finish their cues, so perhaps it may have had some splicework done. I would guess that if that was the case, it would most likely have been Tony Wilshaw, as I am 99% certain that the joint shown is a "1klik joint" and AFAIK Tony is the only cuemaker that will use this particular joint.

Good un! Now you mention it, there is a distinct scent of on JP's cues, must be the old wood..........................

Is a Parris a sniff above any other cue?
