All I can say from my experience of upper end and custom CCs is that they are great, honest cues, the equal of anything Thai. But that's me. My mate has an air-dried custom version of the Sherwood which he wouldn't swap for a JPU. No idea what the C71 is like but it does look great value for made in the UK for £140. Nice looker as well. You buying mate?

Lmfao, unlucky mate, you didn't leave it in your boot or against a wall or something did you?.
I already had the C70 center jointed, my only fault with that is its whippy,

On closer inspection of the pic on the Cue Craft website im not so sure the Cue i just got is a c71, my cue has alternating splices of Ebony and what looks like Kingwood, and a front splice of Kingwood on the butt, i can't find which model it actually is, anyone have any idea? Ill try and get some pics later

nope, kept in case at all times, only used it for around 10 frames, seems someone else at the club had taken a fancy to it and was using it without my permission as my tip file had dissappeared and some chalk that wasnt mine had appeared in the case.....

I would. A mate loves car boot and picks up decent cues for a tenner. Solid butt 3/4 with alternate splices (?) - different. Is it a player?

Don't know yet, needs refinishing and a bit of tlc before trying it. I get load of bargains on cues at the bootsales but this was ridiculous lol
