Saw that earlier, surely a big fat ZERO chance of getting even a 1/3 of that without a badge ?

That is absolutely nuts!? Why on Earth would they produce a cue with no badge?!
And why would anyone pay good money for one!!
(Not great specs either to be fair)

Well the seller is a member, so maybe he'll come on and tell why no badge.

maybe to retrofit an SD socket, it messes with the badge ?

fitting a butt joint should not affect a badge

Maybe Parris kept it in case a cue was made with perfectly matched splice lengths ?

Did Parris add the facing splice, hence lost the badge?

No mention of new facing splice, apparently he just didn't want a badge on it, his friend also has a Parris Ultimate with no badge !!
                  Financial suicide ehh

Some folk don't like badges, labels etc. Also, folk with soft sensitive hands can feel the badge and may not like it. If he can produce the letter, it's legit. A badge can always be added on by Stamford. There are out there with badges that have much less chance of being genuine than this cue. It's only gonna get worse, I'm tellin ya!

In this kind of case tho it's in the sellers interest to get badge put on it surely, as what happens if buyer tries to do it after buying the cue but the maker refuses ??

I completely agree but this is Britain mate. You know how lazy the ****ers are. Obvoiusly, the price would have to reflect the hassle and cost of a new badge (assuming a letter of authenticity from the cue maker) for me but some are a bit daft.

Surely it's worth the hassle to get the cue sold. At least with a badge people will have an idea it's genuine. But now, there is really no hope of selling it to anyone near that price
