Carboot find - Can any cue nuts help?

I picked up these 2 cues (links below - couldn't resize 'em properly) at a bootsale today for £10 and I'm wondering if anyone could tell me about them. One of them is missing it's inlay badge but the other one has what I think is a Riley-Burwat badge on it and I am told they are the same brand. Could anyone help me shed some light on these?

the badge is indeed Riley Burwat, the name of the company when Riley and Burroughes & Watts amalgamated in 1967, I think this logo was used through the 70s and into the 80s (not exactly sure when it was changed)
the unbadged cue does seem to have very similar features so a good guess that it is the same RB.

Do you know where I might be able to find any info about the RB cues of that era?

sorry no, as that period does not appear to interest the usual cue collectors and experts (they prefer older cues )
this also reflects on their value, which is quite low - but as has been said, a cue is worth what anyone is prepared to pay for it.
Anyone else know of any other sites for this era?
the closest I can find is the heritage which does have some 70s cue.

Riley's underwent a big expansion of its business in the mid to late 1970s, taking on their Snooker Clubs and becoming a public limited company. The main trading name was re-registered as "E. J. Riley (Billiards) Ltd." in 1979, and I would guess this was about the time they discontinued the "Riley Burwat" brand, but I can't say for certain.

I took the one with no badge down to the club yesterday and knocked some balls around, it plays nicely though it could probably do with a new tip
