  • Mike Wooldridge refinish

Anyone had a Mike Wooldridge MOT + refinish on their cue?
I am sending mine to him today and was just wondering if anyone had pictures of a refinished cue I could see. I hear very good things about Mike.

i guess youll want to see before an after pics from someone.
maybe you could upload a few of the state of your cue now before you send it off, then a few more on its return..how long is the turn around time?

I had my cue given a refinish together with a ferrule repair some time ago.
Was very pleased with the result and although I can't recall the exact turn around time, I remember that the cue was back a lot quicker than anticipated -only 1 or 2 days until it was on the way again.

        Hi Luclex

I had one done after buying a black legend second hand, there and back in about a week though I'm in Scotland and Mike is down in the south of England so that includes posting times as well. He repaired my black spin ferrule and retipped the cue as we'll as the refinish. It was superb. Looked lovely and silky smooth in the hand without being overly glossy. Been using his cue oil and advice on using it as well and I'm very very happy with the end results. It's the best cue I've ever picked up bar none. Ill try and post pics tonight. I'm sure you won't be disappointed mate, it's not cheap but worth every penny in my book!

        Cheers

        David

Thanks everyone. The turn around time is 2 days so I should have it back for my match by Tuesday night no problem.
I'm really looking forward to getting it back.

I'm having a refinish, new ferrule, new tip and the ultra shine finish.

I didn't mention it was a John Parris so best I email to let him know. Ha

Looks like I won't be telling you all about the refinish on my Parris cue that Mike was going to do for me. UPS have lost it. Or should I say, the white van man they hired to deliver it stole it.
Gutted and on the hunt for a new cue.

And before you bother, no pathetic comments from the usual numpties.

There's part of the conversation I had with them about it.

                    Ok BC you melon.

Yeah was insured but they are trying a few tricks not to pay. Got to fight it out with them. You can see they said it was broken and thrown away, they have now said it was lost. It's quite obvious it was stolen.
