a good standard thai cue new is 250 upwards, but for half that you can buy a traditional handmad cue
i know most thai players use them but there not the best, easten folk tend to support thier loacal business, an why not

I have a Peradon Royal & I think it's an excellent cue. This is only my third cue in the last 26 years. The second cue was also a Peradon Royal but was stolen from Dishers in Crewe by one of the many low-lifes that frequent that place.I had no qualms in returning to the Snooker Shop in Levenshulme having ascertained that they were still selling this model 7 or 8 years after buying the original. The cue is made of kiln dried mature Canadian ash with a plain ebony butt - I don't see the point in fancy veneers. My particular cue is butt jointed with an extension. The splices are all the same length & the shaft is silky smooth. At around £150 I believe that this is a fabulous cue for a very reasonable cost.

The Lazer is a little cheaper than similar looking cues in the Peradon range - the Royal & Joe Davis for example. However the Lazer has a simulated ebony butt - Ebonex - whereas other Peradon cues have genuine ebony butts.

I think the lazer is actually composite ebony, I have no idea what the actual material actually is though or how it plays.
