    the slip stroke ant jab stroke i think im a jab stroke player cause my grip hand doesnt slip tho the butt of the cue ...the slip cue is good but i try it its hard to me to control the cue after pushing it to the shot/after striking cue ball..for you what is good stroke that is consistent... neils feijin si a slip stroke player you can see him the grip hand slide to the but of ther cue

      slip stroke is when the cue goes forward you actually let go of the cue and kind of nip it at the completion of the shot.

      a bizarre concept... no idea why you'd ever do that, its a us pool-ism

        You mean they actually lose all contact? I was under the belief a good snooker action involves a very light grip, floating cue forward and tightening at end (as the grip is light the cue would be launched if you don't grip at the finish)

        This sounds like this, but if it's completely letting go and throwing cue at ball then catching, that seems like unnecessary movement in the body would result. How that works on dinky shots god knows.
