  • 'Pro-versions' Elk Master Tips and Triangle Chalk

Has anyone tried these new products?

    new chalk and tips.jpg

If so, what did you think?

The prices do seem a bit more than the standard Elk Masters and Triangle Chalk but is it worth it if it works well?

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
    I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

They look like the Ronnie Elk Master, seven pounds a tip compared to fifty pence for a normal Elk, the chalk is even more expensive, think I will let others try it out first
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

The Ronnie elks are good tips, I got 2 and both were excellent, when you think of how many elks you normally discard not that expensive, but must be one hell of a mark up? Will have to see Andrew can get us a deal on them, coutts had exclusive rights on the Ronnie tips, but seems they've broadened this to Peradon stockists.

All depends how good they are. The price of a tip doesn't bother me - if i can stick it on and forget about it for a year or so. If I'm ripping it off every 2 weeks, that's a different matter, and cost becomes a factor.

I can get them - but will test first because £7 for a pressed tip sounds mental to me!

Shave just sent you a PM about them, if their anything like the Ronnie tips, which I suspect they will be just rebranded, certainly the best pressed tip I've tried for a long time, up their with MW original super tip, no bedding in and played well right down to a couple of mm, which is saying a lot if a tip makes it that far without me swapping it!lol
