  • TSF cue tip review!

Hi all just tried the TSF soft tip, the tip is tan almost orange in colour which I personally prefer to black, and is 6 layers of pig skin, I fitted the tip to a 9.25mm ferrule allowing it to flare out slightly, they're very easy to trim with a stanley knife, however it did take a while to shape, anyway on to how it plays, it holds chalk extremely well, better than I expected actually, plenty of grip and very resonsive with a nice solid hit, feels quite firm but bites the cue ball, all in all I'm impressed, definately worth a go guys and girls.

How does it compare to the ADR tips?

Hi Dave, can I ask did you notice any problems with tip? I put on a new TSF soft tip shaped it and whet I chalked it, it made a screaching sound, it's ok if I chalk just the top, but when I chalk from side of tip like I have always done, it makes a terrible noise.Do you have any ideas, can you give me any advice? Cheers, Pat.

They're similar, I found they have a firmer feel than the ADR though.

Hi Pat, I didnt notice any screaching sounds whilst chalking, perhaps you're applying too much pressure when you chalk your tip, sorry I cant really help you there
