I've been having problems with the yips or cueits for the last 6 months or so is there any one out there that thinks they could help or have any advice

Sorry to hear that. What is your yips like? Can't release the cue? A double pump action?

A defined rear pause couple with a defined front pause (just before the final backswing) along with a looser grip may help. This is a problem with the mind and comes from a lack of confidence in either your stroke or sighting.

Pick a word that is in time with your cue delivery .....example if you have a long backswing with a slow controlled delivery then pick a longish word like "deliver" or if you have a short back swing then pick a shorter word like "glide "

When you have completed your backswing . Say this word in your mind at the same time as delivering the cue . The idea is it pre occupies your mind and stops it getting anxious over the shot

I've heard this help people in the past so hopefully can help you too .
