GREENBAIZE Snooker Club will again be hosting two Summer Classic tournaments over the holiday period.
And the Bournemouth club is delighted to announce that they now have air conditioning.
On Sunday, August 7, there’s an event for players aged 21 and under. And on Sunday, August 21, there’s an open tournament.
The junior competition is a best-of-five frame knockout with a best-of-three plate for prelim and first-round losers.
Entry fee payable on the day is £10. There are trophies for the winners, runners-up and main comp high break. All entry fees will be returned as prize money.
The club will open at 9.30am and the draw will take place at 10.15am.
A fortnight later, the open event will be restricted to the first 32 players to have paid £20 by 10am on the day of the tournament.

Again, it’s a straight best-of-five knockout for trophies and prize money. And there will be a plate comp. The prize fund could be £640!
Both tournaments are off scratch and there is no dress code.
