A fantastic 126 entries for the first LITEtask Pro-am Event held at the Northern Snooker Centre. The event was won by Gary Wilson Who defeated Kuldesh Johal 3-2 in an excellent high scoring final, Gary winning the final frame with an excellent 74 break commencing with a great long red. Gary walked away with a well earned £1,000 and tops the ranking list for the Finals Weekend. Results from the quarter finals onwards were.

                    Quarter Finals

                    Kuldesh Johal 3 v 2 Oliver Brown
                    Steven Hallworth 3 v 3 Liam Highfield
                    Gary Wilson 3 v 1 Jake Nicholson Gary making a 118 break
                    Sean O'Sullivan 3 v 1 Peter Lines

                    Semi Finals

                    Gary Wilson 3 v 0 Steven Hallworth
                    Kuldesh Johal 3 v 1 Sean O'Sullivan

                    Final

                    Gary Wilson 3 v 2 Kuldesh Johal

The event was attanded by 18 current pro's, numerous ex-pros and many amateur PTC players, Q School Players and excellent amateurs. For an inaugral event it was a big success and I would like to thank all the players that took the time to enter. It's a case of give people tournaments and they will enter.

If we can keep attendances around this mark then this series of events will not be the last.

Even Ballrun himself made a tweet. I wonder if he thinks he could qualify and potentially take £10K for a maximum? Now that would be great!!!!

Can anyone just turn up and play in these on the day?

My game's in the dumps at the moment but I'm looking for incentives to practice.
