Can these be worse/less consistent than the Elks that you can buy online? Part of me thinks these are what are being bought in bulk, then sold off as Elks, so why not cut out the middle man?

there is a lot of these being sold as elks - so much so that I can't make a profit on elks anymore.

Was wondering if anyone here tried these (LP tips)?
I'm currently using it and likes them. IMO these tip able to hold it's shape, grip chalk, more bouncy and I find it harder than PG tip

Andrew. Don't you think it is becoming harder and harder to make a decent profit on many snooker items?

Personally I struggle to see the efforts worth while in selling tips. By the time you have bought them in bulk to get a discount, paid Ebay, Paypal, Royal Mail, Packaging etc. and compare what you need to do for each set of tips you send it blows me away how little profit there is.

If a set of tips (e.g. Talisman) get lost in the post your profit is then cancelled for the next few orders because of the purchase value.

I had some wrong size tips sent to me by a supplier recently and when I paid postage to get them replaced (Don't ask), by the time I'd got them to him I was £6 out and just laughed!

I class them all as loss leaders nowadays as it's easier!
