  • Which Shot Picture Looks Right?

    Question for right handed players.

Well, first please excuse the crudeness. I had to use oranges to hopefully explain things, and couldn't wait until I was at a pool table.

Imagine the clip (inside the red circle) is the pocket. Of these two images (A & B). Which one would you consider to be correct?

I honestly can'nt undrstand what your question is refering to ?
What do you mean which one is correct ?
Are you pointing out to the angle ?
Strange one to me tbh .

Anyway ,You said Sumthing about pool table .

Pottr is one of the players on this forum who plays both ( snooker and pool ).
Hope he shows up ( Or sum other members ) and help you out with this one.

Pot A, scratch B, and let's have no CTE nonsense here!

Neither. All I know is that deep screw would damage the orange.

              I use B.

Basically I am imagining a line coming straight back from the contact point. My head and dominant eye are on that line. My body is at a roughly 45* angle so when I bend down I am moving slightly to the right.

It's so strange to me, because I think most people will use A, but I always feel like I'm cueing across my body. Using B, my stroke feels much better.

I would be A as well. B is knocking the orange between the 2 chairs, and everyone knows the first rule of cue sports is "don't knock the orange between the 2 chairs."

                      Ok, I'll bite...

What on Earth is this all about? I don't understand the point that's being illustrated?

I think shot A is lined up for a snooker table and shot B for the Mosconi Cup.
