  • Reasons for players quirks

Thought it might be interesting debate - Selby sway ronnies up and down stuff - Davis n Higgins tongue swell thing fu or macmanus lifting head ...Williams tapping finger ...are these players not aware or is there something more to these things that promotes better timing or constancy?

I've asked McManus on twitter about the raising up and he never answers the question, even when he's answering snooker questions.

The Selby sway thing i think is related to him having a bad neck?

I thought the Selby Sway was from years back and not to do with his bad neck, if anything after he had treatments for his neck he has considerably reduced the amount of sway. IIRC he said in an interview he swayed back when he was a youngster starting out.

Robbo putting his opponents off with the ice shaker. All of them with urinary tract infection making frequent loo visits essential. LOL

He's got nothing on old Fergal, I don't even bother looking at the shots he plays.

Has anyone noticed that both Ding and Trump tend to blink once whilst feathering the CB? They both seem to do it on most shots. I found myself doing it one night in a match and found it helped to focus just before striking the ball.
