  • Just saying Hello..

As other people have said new to the forum but not to snooker or pool.
I have played for many years both snooker and pool but think it would be nice to join a forum so here I am? I've just returned to the UK after 15 years living in Spain where there was nothing but American pool which I hate..

I have just retired so I'm looking to get out a bit more and play some pool and snooker?

Will chat with you as the weeks go on I'm sure.

    Boon.

Welcome Boon (loved your old series on TV by the way)

a few years ago at the Welsh Open I met a couple who came over from Spain for the event, and they did say snooker was not easy to find but they and a few friends played regularly at a small club near them, so it is possible

Hi DeanH.. We lived 31 miles from Malaga airport up in the mountains, they did play UK style pool on the coast but traveling 30 odd miles for a game was a bit too far lol.. That Boon program was were the nickname come from..

IIRC the couple I met were somewhere near Malaga but they could have been 100km away

Thanks pottr.. Yes they do the repeats on the Drama channel some times. I have an injury which is taking a long time to get better (broken hip) but that comes with getting old but i'm not too bad really.

Wasn't that line in a film somewhere? I'm going to kill you and then bring you back to life so I can kill you again!

On the PC, click on the "Forum" button in the green panel at the top of the webpage.
Scroll down to and click the sub-forum relating to the subject you wish to discuss - say for cases, Accessories could be the one, but there is also a sub-forum Snooker Items for Sale were you can also do a "Wanted" post.
Once in the sub-forum, at the top, just below the green panel you will see a orangey button "Post New Thread"
