I believe it could be a JP again with a plain butt, his previous being a JP ash with butt splices.
He also played with a Coutts for a short time which was approx. 60".

Anyone with confirmed details?
Was his previous not a Ton Praram cue jointed above the splicing?
According to Maximus he was using a maple premium range cue. However in the championship league this week he seems to be using his Parris cue again. I guess he's another of a long line of players that is going to chop and change until he finds some form.

He actually switched to his previous Parris I think
It's always tough to change cues especially with the pros. You really need hard work and effort plus time to get used to one, not forgetting the hours of frustration not being able to do what you used to do with your old cue. So unless you are really absolutely determined to persevere, it often results in failure and switching back to your used, trusted and loved old one.

Yes, I think confidence and trust in the old cue is always the deciding factor in the end for players. That is why the majority of players stick with one cue all their career. Unless something forces a change then its always a temptation to go back to the tried and trusted.
