  • Missing easy balls!!!!

Cant for the life of me work out why I'm missing pots that should be straightforward.let me explain there's been many times I'm left with a long pot on and 9 times out of 10 I'm potting the ball in the centre of pocket and getting nicely onto my next ball. I'm then faced with a shorter more certain pot on a ball and completely miss the pot.dont know if it's abit of tension creeping in or what? Any suggestions appreciated from you guys.cheers.

Take a look at how you play your long shot. Most likely you have a longer back swing and feathering motion.

Perhaps reduce this when dealing with shorter range pots for a more compact cue action.

If you're already doing this then I have no clue haha

Its focus mainly - give them the same attention you do the others - perhaps more so because you are mapping out position - stop taking them for granted perhaps. The good players are good players not because they get the hard ones its because they are better with position to make the next shot an easy one

Everyone misses a sitter after a mad one now and then, even happens to the pros.

are you a pro? with 90% long potting figures you must be . any pro would be delighted with 9 out of 10 long pots
