I use the magick earesers you get out supermarket put a small drop of water on and rub up and down the cue you will see the grime on it them buff dry with kitchen towel or a cloth

"Smearing" - If you use the brass rests a lot you can see some marks on the shaft, these usually rub off with a dry cloth.
If they are where you hold your cue then either dry cloth or a very lightly damp cloth them dry rub should do it.

I gave my cue a proper clean for the first time with wet wipes [ Usually just a damp rag ] , and the amount of dirt i got off it was unreal .

But i didn't like the feel afterwards , felt too smooth and couldn't wait for it to get a little bit grubby again........if that makes any sense

So going back to cleaning with a damp rag .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

I have used baby wipes (non-aloe vera) but I let them air-dry off a bit first
