  • Is this an authentic Robert Osborne blackplate?

    Recently My fri got a blackplate Robert Osborne.However I am not sure the cue is made by Robert or not...

      I believe his black plate cues have a number on the badge as well as his name.

        The badge looks ok to me. It's the new ones that have a number

          Many of my fri have seen badges with no serial no. on his early blackplates.So this time Im a little bit confused.

            How old is the cue? You should send Robert an email and attach a couple pictures. He can tell you.

                  He isn't at the workshop on Sundays so give him a few days. He will reply. I speak to him quite regularly recently so no worries there.

                          I have a similar badge on my Osborne cue I think its the original badges he used before green, red and black plates introduced.
                          If you go to his web site his black plate there has a number.
                          Exquisite cues did the same thing a while back and I've same original plate cue.

                              Hi there, I have the same cue with the same batch . It is around 10/13 years. I confirmed with Robert Osborne that his black plate cues then didn't have a serial number at the time
