    Hi,

Just noticed this small crack in my cue just wondered if anyone can help and tell me if its anything to worry about.

    Thanks

It should be ok and not affect the way the cue plays.
Just don't let it get you...

However. Not really good if you try to sell the cue in the future. :snooker:

Is that a Peradon by any chance?

I had a Peradon a while ago that cracked in that exact spot and it looks identical.
If it is called " Common sense " why is it so rare???

might cause you some bother if the cue expands and the joint comes loose. runny super glue might hold it, or maybe prolong it getting worse.

          Chappy 5, it's a tiger cue.

How would you try to avoid the cue expanding?

try really thin super glue, put it in the fridge to chill then squirt it in the crack, it should soak into the gap and stop it spreading. you will need to sand the excess off. It might not spread at all tbh.

I have fixed a few cues where the joint has come out of the butt completely, a couple because they had split right through where yours has begun, its not a major job and none have come loose again.
