One piece or 3/4

Hi everyone. Am thinking of starting to play after a break of a few years. I have always used a 3/4 length, quite heavy as I am a power player. I notice gbl only seem to have 1 piece cues and am considering a 1 piece, but not sure which manufacturer to go for yet.
Is there a difference in feel/power etc and is it hugely noticeable
