  • Using old screw-in extensions

    Hi all

I've bought myself a new cue that comes with a mini butt extension but I prefer to use another extension I've already got that came from another make of cue. The other extension screws in ok but I'm wondering if I use this one from a different cue maker it might knacker the thread on the cue?

Well if it screws in easily it will be alright, but if you have to force it then yes you will be damaging it by "cutting" a new thread as you force it in

Yeah it screws in fine which surprised me a little so hopefully it will be ok.

If you joint guess in easy and goes up tight, I don't see that there should be a problem.
Like had been said, if it was too be a problem screwing in but it isn't.
