Make a day trip to South London, pay Robert Osborne a visit, try one of the 100+ cues he currently has to choose from and then treat yourself to a delightful local curry.

I visited him on Saturday, he currently has 100+ cues available and won't start selling them off in bulk until these coming weeks. It wasn't until recently when thai_son22 done his write-up that I was aware he was open to visits from and sales to the general public.

Thoroughly nice chap and helped resolve the issue of my extension not quite sitting flush with the butt joint with a quick skim of both joints.

Lol then the postman must have been busy delivering there recently!!
I've been there twice and both time only a very few cues available, read and green plate.
If you say 100s available I'd be very surprised and shocked as soon as a batch done off to asia they go.
If true were there any black plates there?

Something to do with tax changes working in his favour after April, I didn't probe too much! It wasn't hundreds, I'd say a little over 100. Can't recall any black plates, his racks were totally full making it difficult to browse. Plenty to choose from across varied specs of green and red from what I could see.

I don't believe that he makes any blackplates and if he did , the chinese would pay massive money for them .

Does make you wonder how one man can make so many cues so quickly .

He did say the black plates were once in a blue moon and dictated by the ash.

180-200 cues a year him saying if I remember correctly, so what he's sitting on is a good chunk of a year's worth of work.

Apologies OP for continuing off piste!
