Sorry, but I don't have any advice for you. You get bigger breaks bored than I do when i'm fully concentrating.

Can I ask ? Are you playing a Snooker club at all ??

If Im lucky enough to get to my club early I can get the quiet table that is isolated and I can concentrate no problem due to the quiet, if Im on a table in the main room my form dips badly..

      Silence is the key !
I'm not against women.... Just not against them often enough...

I'd have to disagree with you there my friend. If you're constantly practicing in silence, you'll get used to it. Don't you think the noise would be a hinderance in a competition when you practice in silence?
It may not be the case, but i'd be trying to practice in an atmosphere similar to that of a competition, training myself to concentrate on the table and blocking out anything irrellevant to the game at hand.

So we agree to dis-agree then :P

I agree with the blocking everything, just my attention or concentration span isn't that far advanced

Thats fine. It wouldn't be much of a discussion if everyone agreed with everyone.

The blocking everything out I'm sure is correct, just don't ask me how. I was watching a game between your god...ronnie and someone else, and just as he was about to take a shot, the crowd on the next table started applauding and cheering.....Ronnie? Well, he didn't even flinch. He's was cool as the preverbial cucumber
