Peradon cue weight query

Hi

I'm looking at the Peradon Zenith 1 piece pool cue.

The weight states "medium 16.5oz to 17.5oz"

Does this mean it's pot luck and will be somewhere in that weight range?

I currently have a 16oz cue and am reluctant to go much above 16.5oz

more or less yeah, the cue will fall anywhere between this range!
