  • How to differentiate fake Dave Coutts Ruby cue?

    Hi all, iam new and looking for Dave Coutts Ruby cue so need advise on how do I differentiate the fake and genuine ones?

      I tried surfing but can't find much info on Coutts cue even its own website has limited info.

        Well, they're flogging coutts & cook cues which come with certificates which are worded to make it vague to know if the cue is actually made by them or not. So would be interesting to hear their take on it.

          Dave Coutts cue is a cue you very rarely see for sale. I certainly haven't seen any especially his Handmade Ones.

          The Handmade ones I'd stick away in the cupboard, with them being rare especially here in the U.K. I can only see them increasing in value.

          You look on the China snooker shops facebook & websites & they have loads of them for sale. The prices there are very high indeed.

            the issue with genuine is that dave coutts is just non stop changing this and that badge, changing his colours, what series they are or what name they are. how anyone can keep up is beyond me so telling fakes from reals become harder. suggest you just take a pic and send to dave so he can clarify

                There was a coutts platinum on ebay earlier this year with the now standard, boring "ronnie" design. Went for under £900.
