  • Good starter hand made cue?

    Hello,
I've been playing snooker for a short time now with an old cue but am looking to get a cheapish starter cue. I have found lots on eBay for around the £50-£70 Mark including extensions and or case. Can anyone recommend me a brand that's reputable? or just head me in the right direction into saving a little more for a different brand.

Some of those "grand" cues are decent for the money, adr147 has some cues a bit over that that look good as well.

Who is adr147? Can anyone tag him in the forum as I don't have enough posts to private message. Thanks in advance

He'll probably be along in due course to this thread

It would be worth putting your specs on here, you'd be surprised what people will have for sale.

My specs aren't too specific. Ideally around 58 inches, one piece if possible or 3/4. 9mm ish tip. Whatever weight 18-19oz , Small extension. If possible a case but not too worried about that at the moment.

i'd start with something over 9mm...... 9.5 would be better for sure.

I have one of adr147s own brand of cues in those specs with a mini butt. It's 3/4 Jointed, 58" long, 18 oz and 9.4 mm tip. :snooker:
