  • Mathew Stevens cue

Was reading on facebook that he has had his cue stolen from his car in Llanelli.
Does anyone know much about his cue ?
ie make/specs/any pics as going to be hard to find without this knowledge
I have a feeling I know what it is but could be wrong

His cue is a Hunt & O'Bryne , that got damaged and he got it repaired by Robert Osborne many years ago . Hence the splices on the butt .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

reported on BBC the cue was in a black case with the word MAXIMUS written in gold on the case.

So are splices a different colour wood then ?
Can't remember really noticing his cue as rarely on telly these days

And Hendry's original was warped, didn't stop him playing well with it. I take it that was you that commented on his post on fb saying about it being clunky etc?
