The new hook rest

What do people think about the new hook rest?

Personally I think its quite a good idea, Ive not used one yet but can think of many occasions where it could have been quite useful, I cant wait until my club gets a few so I can have a go.

I cant find any picture of it, but it like hooks around a pack of balls if you know what I mean.

* Did you know that in 1959 JOE DAVIS tried to further complicate the game ? He called it SNOOKER PLUS and he meant to add two more balls : a purple one ( 10 points ) and an orange one ( 8 points ). What do you think, would you like to play that way ?

Yea, but I dont think anybody has actually used it yet.

I don't remember having seen it in 2004. It's absolutely great ! It could successfully replace the horrid spider ! Brilliant idea, Mr Roy Barry, whoever you are !!!

Yeah I heard about this from a mate I played snooker with. The thing I want to no is where the hell would u put the purple and orange. I wouldn't mind playing it this way as I would be able to score more freely.

I'm sure the great Joe Davis found the place for the two balls he meant to add . I'll try to find out more about this. Unfortunately ( ?...), the idea didn't get too many supporters. But who knows ?! With the new hook rest, we might score much, much more.

I've heard about it but not seen one until now. Looks like a good idea to me.
