  • Ball-On decision

i've got a question about the contuiation of the game in the situation that the cue-ball touches a ball that could be ball-on (imagin it is a red ball), the player on the table has to play the cue-ball off the ball-on, right? but what could happen? what would be a foul and what a regular shot? is it a foul, if i touch after my shot (with a red ball as ball-on) any coloured ball?
is it a foul if i touch a red ball after my shot? is it a foul if i touch any ball after my touching-ball-shot?
the rulesets i found only tell what must not happen while playing the cue-ball away from the ball-on, but nothing about the rest of my shot, nothing about any possible situation (cue-ball is involved) after my shot...

    another one:
if red is ball-on and i pocket more than one red with one shot (but not the cue-ball), what is the score for that shot? one point or one for each pocketed red ball?
    who can help

When red is on, I think you are only allowed to pot 2 reds max. per shot. And that would be 2 points. Anybody feel free to correct me if I am wrong

I am not aware of any rule that sayd there can be no more than 2 red potted. If the reds are ON, then you gain as many points as the number of red balls that went in the pockets (assuming the shot was legal in all other aspects).

As for the touching ball... if reds are on and cue ball touchs a red... you can think of it this way: "you've already touched your object ball". So it matters not what the cue ball does (as long as you don't pot a coulour or the cue ball itself) or where it rests. You don't even need to touch any ball. So long as the touching ball does not move when you play, the shot is legal. Otherwise, it is a foul.

It's a good opportunity to give an opponent a snooker.

If however, the cue ball is touching a colour and the colours are on, you have to first nominate that colour if you want to play a snooker behind another colour.
