  • Why lie about a listing on Ebay??

Just seen this cue on Ebay and it amazes me why people trying to sell a very expensive cue want to lie???
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/john-parri...oAAOSwJs1ZxDk1
makes no sense trying to sell a uniquie cue as a special order they are a model made up by the guys in the workshop as the title says uniquie for customers to walk in and buy something a little different than the normal range
the fact it looks like a fake badge and is very over priced also makes me wonder if this guy is just looking to take someone for a ride?

Badge looks ok to me ?
With it being 59" ie longer than the norm is it possible is was made for him ?
Not sure how much they are if you walk in and pick one up so price maybe a bit high who knows how much they are ??

uniquies are around £500-£650 dependent on what works gone into it
any extra length would be put on the butt end and no sighs of added splicing
if it was made to order it would be a special not a uniquie
they are very fussy about that in SE23 hence my scepticism
the guy would be best to put up a receipt if it is that new to show its the real thing

It's a 3/4 split cue, surely easier to make a longer shaft than add to butt end ?
        Anyway just guessing lol

Last unique I got from him was a plain ebony butt and was 400. Might have gone up slightly since last year
